("SCG," "we," "us," "our") provides SCG iSecure, an access-control coordination platform used by authorized security personnel at commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. This Privacy Policy explains how information — including mobile phone numbers collected for optional SMS notifications — is handled in connection with SCG iSecure.
Who uses SCG iSecure
SCG iSecure is used by authorized security personnel and system administrators at facilities that subscribe to the iSecure service. Access requires credentials issued by SCG or the customer facility.
Information collected in connection with SMS notifications
When a user voluntarily enrolls in SMS notifications for SCG iSecure, we collect:
- First name and last name
- Mobile phone number
- ZIP code (optional)
- Email address (optional)
- Timestamp and IP address of the opt-in submission
- Record of the consent language shown at the time of opt-in
SMS enrollment is optional. Users can access and operate SCG iSecure through the web dashboard, mobile app, and email notifications without providing a mobile number or enrolling in SMS.
How SMS opt-in information is used
Mobile numbers collected via the SCG iSecure opt-in page are used solely to deliver operational SCG iSecure notifications (access-control events, system status changes, equipment alerts) to the enrolled user. We do not use this information for marketing, promotional messages, or any purpose unrelated to the iSecure service.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on activity at the user's monitored facility. Message and data rates may apply depending on the user's mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out
Users can stop SCG iSecure SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message from the service, or by adjusting notification preferences in the iSecure dashboard. Opting out of SMS does not affect the user's access to SCG iSecure via the web dashboard, mobile app, or email.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent data
SCG does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS/MMS opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. The only third parties that receive a mobile number are the messaging providers (such as Twilio) that deliver messages on our behalf, and only for the purpose of delivering those messages.
Data storage and security
Mobile numbers and consent records are stored on SCG-controlled server infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
SMS opt-in and consent records are retained for at least 4 years for compliance and audit purposes, consistent with TCPA record-keeping guidance.
Children
SCG iSecure is a tool for authorized security personnel and is not directed to or intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above.
